     Barbara Baysinger, 60

     Former resident Barbara Jean Baysinger, 60, died Oct. 28, 2006, at her Tucson, Ariz., with her husband at her side.

     A service was Nov. 11 in Marlin, Texas. Interment was at Peaceful Rest Memorial Park, Marlin.

     Mrs. Baysinger was born March 13, 1946, in Marlin to the Rev. Otis McKinney and Sara Tibbs. After graduating from Booker T. Washington High School, she married Earnest Baysinger. His service in the U.S. Air Force brought the family to Anchorage for an assignment that stretched to 12 years. While here they joined Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.

     She was employed by the Anchorage School District as a bus attendant and attended Trendsetters School of Beauty. Her husband retired, and the family moved to Tucson in 1999.

     She is survived by her husband of 35 years; children, Paulette Johnson, Nakia Jones-Baysinger, Zacarriea Jones-Baysinger, Sandra Watso, Coy Potts, Earnest Stephen, and Jassiem Jones-Baysinger; sisters, Annie Mae Walker and Eula Marie Tibbs, all of the Lower 48; 27 grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her brother.

     Paul Funeral in Marlin was in charge of arrangements.
